Roadmap During the Academic Year

The Roadmap staff offers opportunities for Roadmap students to reconnect with their peers in the Roadmap cohort, to continue to have meaningful connections with faculty and staff, and to benefit from programs and opportunities tailored to the needs and interests of Roadmap students.

During the academic year, the Roadmap experience includes:

  • Continued academic advising by your Roadmap short course faculty member
  • Occasional Roadmap dinners with other Roadmap students, faculty and staff
  • Social opportunities to reconnect with the Roadmap cohort
September 2017

Reconnect

Join us for an opportunity to reconnect with your peers from Roadmap, as well as your faculty and program assistants. This will be a social occasion with plenty of tasty snacks, as well as useful reminders for this time of year.

November 2017

Reconvene

During the month of November, expect to receive a note from your faculty advisor inviting you to a meal with the rest of your Roadmap short course group. This is a time to reconnect with some faces you may not see as often, and to reflect on how the semester has begun, Roadmap lessons that have proved helpful so far, and maybe a few reminders to refocus for the rest of the term.

December 2017

Take a Break!
Wilton Center

The last week of classes is always stressful with final projects, papers, and studying for final exams. Take a break for a small amount of time and meet up with your peers and faculty at the Chaplaincy’s “Study Break for the Soul.” Look forward to some puppy playtime, good food, and even free massages to help you re-center yourself in time for the big tests.

January 2018

Reconnect II

Join us for an opportunity to reconnect with your peers from Roadmap, as well as your faculty and program assistants. This will be a social occasion with plenty of tasty snacks, as well as useful reminders for this time of year.

February 2018

Reconvene II

It’s been a while since you simply sat down with your Roadmap short course class. As a result, your faculty member will be inviting you to another meal to check in with you and offer an opportunity for shared reflection and encouragement.

Celebrate the Year
Westhampton Center Garden & Living Room

Join us in the Westhampton Center garden for an end-of-year picnic and celebration with the Roadmap Faculty and Staff.

Participation During the Year

We strongly encourage Roadmap students to attend the dinners and events planned throughout the academic year. However, we know that some events may conflict with student schedules.
